LinuxWorld Conference and Expo is a conference and trade show that focuses on open source and Linux solutions in the information technology sector.

The show is owned and managed by IDG World Expo, a business unit of International Data Group (IDG).[1] Keynote speakers have included Linux creator Linus Torvalds, One Laptop Per Child founder Nicholas Negroponte, and Creative Commons founder Lawrence Lessig.

As of 2007, LinuxWorld Conference and Expo takes place in many locations:

LinuxWorld Open Solutions Summits take place in: Italy, Spain, Sweden and New York City.

Another IDG business unit, Network World, operates the LinuxWorld.com web site, which often carries audio, video, and presentation materials from the show, as well as interviews with the show's speakers.
